Botox Therapeutic Training Course

Botox (botulinum toxin) is a dental and facial therapeutic agent that has been used for dento-facial applications for the treatment of facial pain, dento-facial therapy, TMJ and occlusal dysfunction for close to twenty years.  The use of Botox is taught in a number of prestigious dental universities and is one of the most underused dento-facial therapies which has tremendous potential to providing new services and better treatment outcomes in every dental practice.

Many patients have mild to severe levels of facial pain, whether it is from migraines, stress, occlusion or TMJ dysfunction.  This presents a diagnostic dilemma for most dentists.  It is even more confusing when you treat the patient with conventional dental therapies and the pain still exists.   There is a missing link – this course will teach you the treatment of the muscles and associated tissues with botulinum toxin for improved outcomes in facial pain, orthodontic, prosthodontic, and dento-facial esthetic cases.
